Ischia Vintage
From November 1st to 3rd, Ischia Vintage returns—a celebration of the Italian art of fine living at the Regina Isabella.
Ischia Vintage 2024 reaffirms the Carriero family’s strong connection to haute cuisine and fine Italian and French wine.
For over a decade, this event has brought the top figures of both national and international wine culture to the island. The fourth edition is centered around a concept of great importance for both wine enthusiasts and collectors: the niche, understood as a market niche but also as the pursuit of refined taste.
Three prestigious and highly sought-after wineries will take center stage during the vertical tastings and Gala Dinner planned for Ischia Vintage 2024. Representing Italy will be the Pieropan family, whose extraordinary and long-lived Soave wines are making history in Italy's white wine scene. Accompanying them with red wines will be the Cotarella family, who will delight guests with a unique vertical tasting of Montiano, the only Italian Merlot capable of competing with the great Bordeaux from Pomerol, such as Petrus. And finally, but by no means least, the great sparkling wines from France: there is great anticipation for the vertical tasting of Diebolt-Vallois, a true gem for enthusiasts. With their extraordinary Chardonnay wines, masterpieces from the Côte des Blancs, Diebolt-Vallois is shaping the future of contemporary Champagne.
All of this will be accompanied by the refined creations of Pasquale Palamaro, Executive Chef of the Regina Isabella restaurants (including the Michelin-starred Indaco*), who will curate every tasting, culminating in the highlight of the event: the Gala Dinner.
Once again, the event will be hosted at the Regina Isabella, a hotel that has long been a hub of culture and society, welcoming luminaries such as Richard Burton, Elizabeth Taylor, Charlie Chaplin, Clark Gable, William Holden, Maria Callas, Alberto Sordi, along with princes, kings, and queens throughout the ages.
So, we look forward to seeing you at Ischia Vintage, The New Vintage 2024!

MAISON DIEBOLT-VALLOIS
The Diebolt-Vallois maison was founded in the 19th century in Cramant, a small village in the heart of the Côte des Blancs, whose chalky soil is the ideal cradle for Chardonnay. Originally owned by the Diebolt family, it wasn't until 1978 that the estate was renamed Diebolt-Vallois. Jacques Diebolt began working in the vineyard with his grandfather and his wife, Nadia Vallois. Later, their two children, Isabelle and Arnaud, became actively involved in running the estate. Today, the third generation is also present, with Ophélie and Philippine, Arnaud's two daughters.
Originally, the vineyards were located mainly in Cramant and Cuis, two villages classified as Grand Cru and Premier Cru, where Jacques (Cramant) and Nadia (Cuis) were born. Today, the vineyards cover 15 hectares, with plots in the Grands Crus of Chouilly, Oger, and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. The grapes are harvested by hand, and each vineyard is vinified separately.

PIEROPAN
The Pieropan family has been established in the Soave area since the mid-17th century, but it was with Leonildo, the sole descendant of a large family, and the significant and profound modernizations he introduced, that the winery began a new chapter in 1966. New vineyards were acquired, new technologies were introduced in the cellar, and experiments were conducted, drawing comparisons with other wine regions around the world. In just a few years, accompanied by his inseparable wife Teresita, Leonildo became a key figure in both the national and international wine markets.
After his passing in 2018, the winery was taken over by his sons Andrea and Dario, both of whom hold degrees in viticulture and enology. They inaugurated a new, modern underground cellar in the heart of the vineyards.

TENUTA MONTIANO
The Cotarella family's passion for viticulture and strong connection to their homeland has driven them for over thirty years to enhance the region's winemaking heritage through a production philosophy focused on key values: territory, scientific rigor, and dynamism. They continuously select and study the Umbria and Lazio regions, adopting scientific methods and cutting-edge techniques, believing that experimentation, innovation, and wine culture are essential for revitalizing the local winemaking traditions. Their journey is a constant balance between roots and the future.
